About Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art
The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) is a museum of contemporary art located in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The museum was inaugurated on November 8, 1995. It is housed in an old building, the Palau del Baró de Quadras, in the Plaça dels Àngels. Designed by Richard Meier, the building was completed in 1995.
