About Sultan Hassan Mosque
The Sultan Hassan Mosque is one of the largest and most famous mosques in Cairo, Egypt. It is located on the Mokattam Hills on the eastern edge of Cairo. The mosque was commissioned by Sultan Hassan, the grandson of Saladin, in 1356, and was completed in 1363.
