Museum of the History of Science The Museum of the History of Science is a museum in Florence, Italy, which houses a collection of scientific instruments from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. It is housed in the Palazzo Castellani, an early-Renaissance building which was extensively restored in the 1980s. The museum is open every day except Sunday and public holidays. Admission is free. The museum contains a large collection of scientific instruments from the Middle Ages to the 18th century.
