Just in the heart of Hyderabad, the Hyderabad Botanical Garden also known as the Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy botanical Garden stands as a fascinating attraction, offering a rejuvenating ambiance and a diverse array of flora. Developed by the Telangana Forest Department, this botanical haven is situated in Kothaguda, Kondapur, Hitec City, approximately 16 kilometers away from the city center.
The green oasis Hyderabad Botanical Garden, is a famous sightseeing place in the city. This garden strives to provide a contemporary botanical experience, emphasizing germ plasm conservation and public education. Encompassing a sprawling 274 acres of undulating terrain, the garden is divided into 19 sectors or 'Vanams.' The initial phase, comprising five sections, is now open to the public.
Visitors can explore thematic sections dedicated to medicinal plants, timber trees, fruit trees, ornamental plants, and aquatic plants, among others. The park's thoughtful design incorporates expansive water bodies, rolling meadows, natural forests, lush grasslands, and captivating rock formations.
