About Manipur State Museum
The Manipur State Museum is a museum in Imphal, Manipur, India. It is under the administrative jurisdiction of the Manipur State Department of Cultural Affairs. The museum was inaugurated by Shri R. K. Dorendra Singh, the then Minister for Cultural Affairs, on 9 November 1984. The museum has a collection of Manipur's art and cultural heritage. The art collection includes sculptures, paintings, and handicrafts. The cultural heritage collection includes weapons, costumes, and jewellery. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Per Person 33,306
