About Rajasthan International Folk Festival

Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) is an annual international music and culture festival held in the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The festival is a celebration of Rajasthani folk music and culture, and attracts performers and attendees from all over the world.
The first Rajasthan International Folk Festival was held in 2006, and has been held annually since then. The festival is organized by the Jodhpur-based non-profit organization Lok Foundation, in cooperation with the Government of Rajasthan. The festival is held at the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, and typically features around 100 performers from Rajasthan and around the world.
 
The festival showcases the traditional music and dance of Rajasthan, as well as other folk music and cultures from around the world. Performers at the festival have included traditional Rajasthani folk musicians and dancers, as well as musicians and dancers from Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, and the United States.
The Rajasthan International Folk Festival is a popular event, and has attracted large audiences each year. The festival has also been praised by critics, with The Hindu calling it "one of the best organized festivals in the country."
