About Buddhist Caves
The Junagadh Buddhist Caves are a set of Buddhist caves located in the Junagadh district of Gujarat, India. The caves are dated to the 2nd century BC, and are some of the earliest surviving Buddhist caves in India. The caves are also notable for their early use of the Ajanta-style rock-cut architecture.
