About Chembra Peak
The Chembra peak is a peak located in the Wayanad district of Kerala, southern India. At a height of 2,100 metres (6,890 ft), it is the highest peak in the Wayanad district. The peak can be reached either from the town of Kalpetta or from the village of Meppadi. The trek from Kalpetta is about 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) long, while the trek from Meppadi is about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) long. The trek from Kalpetta is more difficult than the trek from Meppadi.
