History of Chandragiri Fort
The Chandragiri Fort is located in Kasargod district of Kerala. The fort was built by the Vijayanagara Empire in the 15th century. The fort is believed to have been built on the site of an earlier fort built by the Cheras. The fort was captured by the British in 1792.
