Mananchira Square is a popular landmark and tourist attraction in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. It is located in the city center, adjacent to the Mananchira Pond. The square was created in the 14th century as the palace courtyard of the Samoothiri (Zamorin) of Kozhikode. It is now a public square and park. The square is a popular meeting place in the city and is surrounded by several important buildings, including the Mananchira Palace, the Thaliyil Mahal (Palace of the Prime Minister), the Koyilandy Kovilakam (Palace of the Prince of Koyilandy), and the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation building. The square is also home to a large number of birds and is a popular spot for bird watching.
