Named after India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, Nehru Kund is a natural spring located in the picturesque town of Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Fed by the snow-capped peaks of the Pir Panjal Range, the spring emerges from a rocky outcrop and forms a small pool that is said to be sacred to Hindus. According to legend, the water of the pool is believed to have healing properties and is said to cure various skin diseases.
