This Marian shrine is home to a painting of the Madonna and Child, which is said to have been miraculously found in the ruins of the city following its eruption in 79 AD. The Sanctuary of the Madonna of the Rosary is open to the public Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm and from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. It is closed on Sundays and holidays.
