Rameswaram Agnitheertham, also known as Agni Theertham, is a Hindu temple located in the town of Rameswaram in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, India. The temple is dedicated to the god Shiva, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingams, the holiest shrines of Shiva.

There are many legends associated with Agnitheertham. One such legend is that of Sage Agastya and his wife, Lopamudra. According to the legend, Lopamudra was not able to conceive a child and she approached Sage Agastya for help. Sage Agastya then performed a ritual at Agnitheertham and as a result, Lopamudra conceived a child.
