Tioman Island is a beautiful, unspoilt island located off the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The island is around 48km long and covers an area of approximately 285 square kilometres. The island is a popular tourist destination, offering stunning natural scenery, crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and a range of tropical jungle flora and fauna. There are a number of resorts and guesthouses located on the island, as well as a few small villages. The main town and ferry terminal is located in the north-west of the island in the village of Tekek. How to get to Tioman Island The only way to get to Tioman Island is by boat. There are a number of ferry services operating between Tioman Island and the mainland. The main ferry terminal is located in the north-west of the island in the village of Tekek.
