About Maritime Museum Rotterdam
The Rotterdam Maritime Museum (Dutch: Maritiem Museum Rotterdam) is a maritime museum in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The museum is located in the Delfshaven district of Rotterdam, on the bank of the Nieuwe Maas river. It is housed in a former warehouse, the "Witte Huis" (White House), built in 1642. The museum was founded in 1954, and opened its current location in 1973. The museum's collection includes maritime art, models of ships, and maritime equipment.
