About Castle of St Nicholas
The Santorini Castle of St Nicholas is a small fortress located on a hill overlooking the village of Pyrgos on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades group of islands in Greece. The castle was built in the 13th century by the Venetians and was used to protect the village from pirates. The castle is now in ruins, but is a popular tourist attraction.
