Dhankar Lake

The Dhankar Lake is situated at a height of 4,000 meters above sea level in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is said to be one of the most scenic spots in the valley. It is a popular spot for trout fishing. The lake can be reached by trekking from the village of Dhankar or by driving from the town of Kaza.
