Battle of Bobbili
The Bobbili Battle of 1757 was a decisive battle fought between the Marathas and the Nawabs of Arcot. The battle was fought near the town of Bobbili in the present-day Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Marathas emerged victorious, and as a result, the Nawabs of Arcot were reduced to a vassal state.
