Vythiri Pookot Lake is a man-made freshwater reservoir located in the Vythiri taluk of Wayanad district, Kerala, India. It is an important tourist attraction in the region. The Vythiri Pookot Lake was created in 1975 by the construction of a dam on the Kalpetta River. The reservoir has a storage capacity of 1.5 Mcft and a catchment area of 5.2 sq.km. It supplies drinking water to the towns of Vythiri and Kalpetta. The lake is also a popular tourist attraction, with boating and fishing facilities available.
