About The hazratbal mosque

The Hazratbal Mosque is a mosque located in Hazratbal, Srinagar, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most important mosques in Kashmir. The mosque is situated on the banks of the Dal Lake, and is considered to be the holiest Muslim shrine in Kashmir.

The mosque is said to contain the hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is said that the hair was brought to Kashmir by a Sufi saint, Sheikh Noor-ud-din Wali, in the 14th century. The mosque was built in the 16th century.

The Hazratbal Mosque is a white marble structure, and is said to be one of the most beautiful mosques in India. The mosque has a large dome, and is surrounded by gardens.

The Hazratbal Mosque is a popular tourist attraction in Kashmir, and is visited by thousands of tourists every year.
