Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day 1
    Info   Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi | Explore the capital city

    Upon reaching Hanoi, complete the immigration and visa on arrival process at the airport. Meet our representative at the airport and board your transfers to reach the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in procedure at the hotel and rest for sometime. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can choose to explore around on your own and visit the Hoan Kiem lake which is a symbol of Hanoi and is also called the Sword Lake, followed by a visit to the Ngoc Son temple and the Huc Bridge which are located on the same premises. Take photo stops at St. Joseph cathedral, Hang Ngang – Hang Dao “clothes” street, Hang Dau “shoe” street, Hang Gai “painting” streets. You can also sit and admire the shades of the sunset from the Cafe apartment - a unique old apartment building turned into cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy your Vietnamese-style coffee. You can also visit the Bến Thành market - Vietnam’s best shopping center to indulge in a shopping spree. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

    Info   Day 2 Hanoi City Tour | Watch a Unique Water Puppet Show

    Wake up in the morning and have a hearty breakfast in the hotel. Get ready and start off your city tour by first visiting the city's most revered attraction, the Ho Chi Minh Complex which is dedicated to the Great Vietnamese President - Ho Chi Minh who led Vietnam to Independence. Visit the mausoleum that houses the remains of Uncle ho followed by a visit to the Stilt House where the president stayed for a few years. Further spend some time admiring the architectural beauty of the one-pillar Pagoda and the Ba Dinh Square. Later, visit the Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam, founded by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong. Visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam- the Ethnology Museum that displays the colorful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. Next, take a tour of the Hỏa Lò Prison which was used by the French colonists in Vietnam for political prisoners. Attend a most unique water puppet show depicting traditional legends and historical tales. Conclude by taking a cycling tour around the old quarters of the city.     Info   Day 3 Hanoi to Halong Bay | Witness the beauty of the surreal archipelagos

    Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and begin your journey to Halong Bay. This journey will take you through the Red River Delta where you can see the everyday life of the Vietnamese Villagers. Upon arriving at Halong, you will board your cruise from Taun Chau harbor. Embark on your cruise journey followed by a safety briefing by the crew members and a welcome drink. Enjoy delicious Vietnamese Lunch while you cruise through the azure ocean waters dotted with beautiful islets and archipelagos. Later, get a chance to discover some of the most beautiful caves and largest rock formations in the bay Spend some time swimming, sunbathing, or simply relaxing by the beach (subject to weather conditions). Spend the rest of the evening on the sundeck of your cruise and admire the colors of the sunset painting the sky. Later, have a delicious dinner served onboard.     Start your day by having a wholesome breakfast to energize yourself for today's adventure. Your first activity for the day will be a guided tour of the Surprise Caves, which will lure you to their natural beauty. On this tour, understand the legend associated with the Sung Sot Cave which is the biggest cave in Halong Bay and houses extraordinary limestone structures. Later, return back to the cruise and enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch that will be served on board. Spend the rest of the time at leisure until you reach back on the coast of Hanoi. Disembark on the cruise at Taun Chan Bay and board your transfer that will take you to Noi Bai Airport. Board your flight to Da Nang - a town in central Vietnam famous for its beaches and bridges. Upon reaching Da Nang, meet our representative who will help in your transfer to Hoi An which is an ancient heritage town in Vietnam.     Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the day. Enjoy a pleasant morning in this enchanting port town that appears straight out of a fairytale movie. Walk on the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architectures. See a 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls and the local fish market. Around the town we will see numerous art galleries and tailor shops, and you can even get some made-to-order clothes if you like. Take the boat trip on the village of woodworkers and boat building families on Cam Kim Island. Continue your boat ride to Thanh Ha pottery village is 3 km from Hoi and is in existence since the 16th century. Later, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Hoi An.     Meal Inclusions: Breakfast

    Info   Day 6 Hoi An to Da Nang | Take a flight to Ho Chi Minh

    Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and board your transfer to Da Nang. Upon reaching Da Nang airport, board your flight to Ho Chi Minh, a city in South Vietnam (2-hour flight). Upon reaching the Ho Chi Minh airport, get picked by a representative to your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in procedure at the hotel and rest for some time. The rest of the day is at leisure wherein you can choose to walk around and explore the bustling nightlife of Ho Chi Minh City. You can choose to visit the nightclubs or go to one of the city's rooftop bars and pubs to watch a stunning view of the skyline illuminated with city lights.     Wake up and have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Begin your Ho Chi Minh City Tour by first visiting the Reunification Palace, formerly  known as Presidential Palace which was the site of the Vietnam War’s final moments during the fall of Saigon in 1975. Visit the red-bricked Notre Dame Cathedral, whose construction is based on the original cathedral of Paris. Stop by the Central Post Office which was designed by a French architect - Gustav Eiffel. Pay homage to one of the most spectacular Taoist shrines - the Jade Emperor Pagoda. Walk around Chinatown to experience one of the most bustling areas in the town. Spend some time shopping at the biggest and the oldest market of Vietnam - the Bến Thành market. Next, get ready to visit one of the most interesting places related to the Vietnam War period - the Cu Chi Tunnels. Located 60 km from Ho Chi Minh, Cu Chi is a network of over 200km of tunnels that were functioning as underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Watch a short introductory video on how the tunnels were constructed before heading the explore these tunnels. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”. After exploring the tunnels for an hour, head back to Ho Chi Minh city.     Info   Day 8 Mekong Delta Tour | Experience the countryside life of Vietnam

    Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and get ready by around 8 to 8:30 am to begin an interesting day of this tour. Board your transfer to My Tho city, after which you will be starting the one-and-a-half-hour bus ride that will take you through the lush green landscapes of the rice paddies. Later, embark on a boat ride along the Mekong River as it is the only means of transportation to explore this region. Watch the fisherman fishing using the fish cages from their unique floating houses on the river. The boat will further take you through a small canal to one of the two islands in the region famous for producing the local specialties like coconut candy, coconut handicrafts, etc. You can also visit the bee farms to try the freshly made honey and taste the honey wine. Stop by and listen to Vietnamese traditional music as performed by the villagers (Đàn Ca Tài Tử – A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). Click some postcard-perfect pictures of the surrounding vistas before heading to a local restaurant for lunch. Re-energize yourself by having a special Vietnamese lunch prepared by the locals in a natural setting under the shade of the trees. During this tour, you will also visit the Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. The rest of the time is at leisure for you to relax and take walk around.
