Info Day 01: Guwahati Airport / Rly Station to Shillong (Approx. 100 Kms / 03 Hrs)

Welcome to the enchanting state of Assam. Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, a warm greeting awaits from our representative. Begin your journey towards Shillong, often referred to as the 'Scotland of the East'. En route, marvel at the grandeur of Umium Lake (Barapani), a pristine water body where you may indulge in various water sports at your own expense.

Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel. In the evening, take the opportunity to explore Police Bazaar, the largest traditional market in the area, bustling with vibrant stalls and local eateries. Settle in for your first night in the cosy confines of your Shillong accommodation.
