Day 1

Info Day 01: Arrival in Gangtok

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok, a picturesque drive of approximately 4.5 hours covering around 125 kilometers. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you ascend through winding mountain roads and lush green valleys. On reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel and unwind after the journey. Overnight stay in Gangtok as you prepare for the exciting experiences ahead.

Info Day 02: Explore Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a pristine high-altitude lake nestled at 12,400 feet, around 37 kilometers from Gangtok. Take in the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty of this sacred spot. From there, continue to New Baba Mandir, located at 13,200 feet and 16 kilometers further, where the calm surroundings add to the spiritual experience. After the visit, return to your hotel in Gangtok and relax for the night with an overnight stay.

Continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays). Visit the iconic Tenzing Rock and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), followed by an outer view of a lush Tea Garden. Later, check in to your hotel in Darjeeling and relax for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning, visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit/token availability) to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga. Return to your hotel for breakfast before heading to Bagdogra Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable tour.
