About Dudhsagar falls Nasik Dudhsagar falls Information The Nasik Dudhsagar falls are a set of waterfalls located in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil of the Nashik district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. They are about 60 kilometres (37 mi) from the city of Nashik. The falls are created by the river Godavari which drops from a height of about 320 metres (1,050 ft). The river splits into two parts as it falls, and the falls are known as the Dudhsagar Falls or "Sea of Milk". The falls are a major tourist attraction and are usually visited as a part of a tour of the Nashik district.
