About Museum of turkish and islamic arts The Istanbul Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts is a museum in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to the art of the Islamic world. It is located in the Ibrahim Pasha Palace, a palace built in the 16th century by the Ottoman Grand Vizier Ibrahim Pasha. The museum was established in 1942, and originally consisted of a small collection of Islamic art donated by the painter Fethiyeh Uslu. The museum's collection has since been expanded to include objects from across the Islamic world, from Spain to India. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is 10 Turkish lira.
