About Nagarhole Nagarhole National Park is a national park in the Kodagu district of Karnataka state, India. The park is spread over 643 km2 (248 sq mi) and is contiguous with the Bandipur National Park to the south. It was declared a national park in 1974. The park is known for its wildlife, including Indian elephants, tigers, leopards, gaur, sambar deer, and Malabar giant squirrels.
