About Pandava caves The Pandava Caves are a group of five Hindu caves located in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India. The caves are dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and are said to have been carved out of the rocks by the Pandavas, the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. The caves are numbered 1 to 5 from north to south. The Pandava Caves are located about 4 kilometers from Pachmarhi town. The caves can be reached by walking or by hiring a jeep.
