About Samut prakan Samut Prakan Province is located in the Chao Phraya River delta in central Thailand. It is one of the most industrialized provinces in the country. The province is divided into 7 districts: Bang Pakong, Bang Phli, Mueang Samut Prakan, Pak Thong Chai, Phra Pradaeng, Phra Samut Chedi, and Tha Chana. The main tourist attractions in Samut Prakan Province are the ancient temples located in the Phra Pradaeng district. These include the Phra Pradaeng National Museum, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and the ruins of the Maha Chedi Si Ratana Maha Wihan temple.
