FLYING MILKHA SINGH CLUB FOR ADVENTURE SPORTS INAUGURATED AT MORNI HILLS, PANCHKULA

Morni Hills has been bolted to turn into a major tourist hub beginning with the preparations lately. On Sunday, the CM of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the ‘Flying Milka Singh Club’ giving a tribute to the late legendary athlete, Milkha Singh, who passed away some days back owing to Covid-19 complications. 
 
The club- dedicated to the legendary deceased athlete, would be set up at Morni Hills, where many adventure sports, water sports and tourism activities would take place. The CM of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, added that the club is expected to guide and train the youth in a professional way so that they can further pursue their career in adventure sports with their help. 
 
Many other adventure sports would also be taken up including parasailing, paramotor gliding, paragliding and water sports. The facilities and pieces of equipment needed for all, have been taken care of by the state funds as well. The ministers present at the inaugural ceremony also enjoyed many adventure sports.
 
It is also announced that a new concept, ‘Oxy Van’ would be introduced for students from classes VIII to XII that will allow them to receive extra marks if they plant and nurture saplings. Along with this, Panchkarma Wellness Centre, Navgrah Vatika, Nakshatra Vatika and Rashi Van would also be inaugurated soon.
