Story of Bibi Kaulan

However, one popular version of the story is that Bibi Kaulan was a woman who lived in the city of Amritsar and was married to a man named Kaulan. Kaulan was a very jealous husband and would often get angry with Bibi Kaulan for no reason. One day, Kaulan became so angry with Bibi Kaulan that he grabbed her by the hair and dragged her through the streets of Amritsar. Bibi Kaulan begged her husband to stop, but he refused to listen. Finally, a group of people came to her rescue and took her to a nearby temple. Kaulan was arrested and sentenced to prison. Bibi Kaulan was able to forgive her husband and they eventually reunited.
