About Parnitha National Park
Athens Parnitha National Park is a national park in Attica, Greece. It was founded in 1959 and covers an area of 1,450 hectares. The park is located on the slopes of Parnitha mountain, 20 km north-west of Athens. The park is a popular destination for Athenians and visitors to Athens, offering hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding, and bird watching.
