About Chandan Nagar Museum
Chandannagar Chandan Nagar Museum is a museum in Chandannagar, West Bengal, India. It is dedicated to the memory of the poet and playwright Rabindranath Tagore. The museum was inaugurated by Tagore's grandson, Pranab Mukherjee, on 7 May 1992. It is housed in a building that was formerly the Tagore family residence. The museum has a collection of paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, and other objects related to Tagore. It also has a library with about 3,000 books and journals on Tagore and other topics.
