About Greek National Football Museum
The Crete Greek National Football Museum is a museum in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, dedicated to the history of football in Greece. It is located in the former home of G.S. Iraklis, a football club that was founded in Heraklion in 1908. The museum was inaugurated on 15 May 2010. It is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Admission is free. The museum contains exhibits on the history of football in Greece, including memorabilia from the Greek national football team, as well as the football clubs Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, AEK Athens, and Iraklis.
