Toplou Monastery is a monastery located on the top of a hill in the village of Toplou, on the north coast of the island of Crete, Greece. The monastery was founded in the late 14th century by a monk from Mount Athos. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The monastery is a major tourist attraction on Crete. It has a large collection of icons and other religious art, and is also noted for its wine production.
