Rajagopalachari, also known as Rajaji, who was the last Governor-General of India. The park is contiguous with the Corbett National Park, forming a protected area of 1,338 km2 (517 sq mi). The park is a home to a large variety of flora and fauna. The park has a total of 754 plant species, of which 229 are medicinal.
