Worlds largest igloo cafe, Gulmarg
Worlds largest igloo cafe, Gulmarg

Have you ever considered eating your favorite meal in an igloo? For many people who have never visited an igloo, it remains a memorable experience. Ski resorts have created the spectacular igloo café, which is also the world's largest café, keeping in mind how fanatical Indians are about food and want it everywhere in every encounter. Despite the fact that this is the second effort, the public has embraced it completely. The café will open its doors in the middle of March, at the end of the winter season, to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere while eating your favorite meals.

The concept of a snow cafe is quite popular in Switzerland, Finland, and Canada, according to the cafe's management, the Kolahoi company. Several of them even provide lodging options. Indians will quickly adjust to and enjoy the new cafe culture.

"I figured Gulmarg gets a lot of snow, so why not start this concept here?" said Syed Wasim Shah, the igloo's builder. Which is even more justified because many Indians have yet to see snow, and what could be better than dining and enjoying the first snowfall?

An igloo is a snow-built structure that resembles a dwelling. To keep the igloo from becoming too chilly, air pockets trapped within the snow act as insulators. Which can be described as the home of people who live in the far north, where they are subjected to the harshest winters and snowfall.

Last winter, Shah erected a similar cafe, the largest in Asia and his first in India. It stood 12.5 feet tall and 22 feet in circumference, with four tables that could seat up to 16 people.

This year's igloo is 38 feet tall and 44 feet in circumference, with enough room for roughly 40 people. The world's largest cafe, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, is in Switzerland, with a height of 33.8 feet and a diameter of 42.4 feet. As a result, this is a lot bigger.

Hand-engraved copper samovars are among the artworks, giving the cafe a typical Kashmiri feel. To make the sitting arrangements warm and comfy, sheep hides have been placed on the tables and benches made of snow and ice. A visitor can stay inside the igloo for about an hour or until it gets cold.

This year's igloo took two months to build and required the participation of 25 people who worked in shifts. Which is a reasonable amount of time to create the once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece.

The cafe has become a popular hangout spot for both locals and visitors to the area. It is a must-see experience for everyone since we have visited many cafes around India with various themes and decor. The igloo cafe, on the other hand, is a first of its sort.

Let's not lose out on the chance to see and eat in the splendour of Gulmarg while also having a unique experience.

The cafe will not only give you wonderful dishes, but you will also be able to take many photographs to remember the first largest igloo cafe in the world.
