About Guwahati Planetarium
The Guwahati Planetarium is located in the city of Guwahati in the Indian state of Assam. The planetarium was inaugurated by the then Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta on 4 February 1998. The planetarium is equipped with a digital projector and a dome of diameter . The planetarium offers a range of programmes on astronomy and space science for students, teachers and the general public.
