Belur Math

There is no Belur Math Campus.

Belur Math is a Hindu monastery located on the west bank of the Hooghly River in West Bengal, India. It is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission. The monastery was founded in 1897 by Swami Vivekananda, an Indian philosopher and a key figure in the introduction of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world.

Belur Math is an architectural masterpiece. It was designed by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's chief disciple, Swami Vivekananda. The architecture is a blend of traditional Hindu and modern styles.

There are many celebrations and activities that take place at Belur Math. Some of these include the celebration of Sri Ramakrishna's birthday, the celebration of Christmas, and the celebration of the New Year. There are also many religious ceremonies and prayers that take place at Belur Math.

Belur Math is located on the banks of the Hooghly River, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It can be reached by train, bus, taxi, or boat.
