The Jagmandir Palace
The Jagmandir Palace is an architectural marvel located on an island in the Pichola Lake of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. The palace was commissioned by Maharana Jagat Singh I in 1551 and was completed in 1584. The palace is a fine example of Rajput architecture and is noted for its intricate carvings and beautiful murals. The Jagmandir Palace is also home to the Jagmandir Island Palace Museum which houses a collection of paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts from the Mughal and Rajput periods.
