About Hall Of Fame Museum

The Hall of Fame Museum in Leh is a museum dedicated to the soldiers of the Indian Army who have died in various operations since the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. The museum is located on the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar highway, about 28 kilometres (17 mi) from Leh. 
The museum is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays and all major Indian holidays.

The museum is spread over an area of 2,500 square metres (27,000 sq ft) and has five galleries. The first gallery displays photographs of soldiers who have died in various operations since independence. The second gallery contains the weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. The third gallery displays the uniforms and medals of the Indian Army. The fourth gallery contains a multimedia hall with a display of the history of the Indian Army. The fifth gallery is a souvenir shop.
The museum has a collection of over 5,000 items, including weapons, uniforms, medals, and other artefacts.
