History of National Gallery of Modern Art
The National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai, is an art museum in Mumbai, India. It is the country's first and foremost center for the promotion and appreciation of modern art. It was founded in 1954 by the government of India, and is located in the grounds of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the presidential palace. The museum is administered by the Ministry of Culture.
