Orchha is a city in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is located in Jhansi district, Orchha is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Madhya Pradesh. The town was the capital of the Bundelkhand region, until it was moved to Khajuraho by the Chandela dynasty. The former Bundelkhand capital is now a small town, situated on the banks of the Betwa River. The city has many famous temples, including the Chaturbhuj Temple, the Jehangir Mahal, the Raj Mahal, the Laxminarayan Temple, and the Ram Raja Temple. The Betwa River is a popular place for swimming and boating. Orchha is a small town and does not have an airport or a railway station. The nearest airport is the Khajuraho Airport, which is located about 80 km from Orchha. The nearest railway station is the Jhansi Railway Station, which is located about 20 km from Orchha.
