History of Patna Museum
The Patna Museum is the state museum of Bihar, India. It is located in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The museum was founded in 1917 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who later became the first President of India. The museum is situated in the heart of the city and is spread over an area of 2.5 acres. The museum has a collection of more than 100,000 objects, including sculptures, coins, paintings, and manuscripts. The museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
