About Dasham Falls
Situated in the Pahari region of Jharkhand, Ranchi Dasham Falls is a set of ten waterfalls that cascade down a rocky cliff. Dasham in Hindi means ten, and the falls are so named because of the ten cascades. The falls are a popular tourist destination and offer a beautiful natural setting. The falls are located about 20 km from Ranchi and can be reached by road. There is a small parking lot at the falls and a short path leads to the viewing platform. The falls are best viewed in the morning or evening when the light is best.
