Badarpur Fort

Sitting atop a hill in the town of Badarpur in Assam's Karimganj district, this fort is a reminder of the region's rich history. The fort was built by the Ahom king, Pratap Singha, in the late 17th century and served as the royal palace. The fort is now in ruins, but it is still an interesting place to visit for its historical value. There are also some lovely views of the surrounding countryside from the fort.
