No trip to Singapore becomes complete with a visit to the Universal Studio Singapore. It is like a fantasy world where visitors enjoy different types of rides, food, shows and many more exciting things. Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is a theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, Singapore. It was a key component of Genting's bid for the right to build the integrated resort. The theme park opened on 18 March 2010. It is the first Universal Studios theme park to be opened in Southeast Asia and the sixth in the world.
The theme park features 24 rides, shows and attractions, including some unique attractions such as the TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, and the world's tallest dueling roller coasters, the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON.
The S.E.A. Aquarium is located within the theme park, making it the only aquarium in the world with a theme park attached to it.
The USS Logo
USS is divided into seven themed zones: Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away, and Madagascar.
 
Hollywood
Hollywood is the entrance zone and is themed after Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. It features the park's iconic landmark, the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
 
New York
New York is themed after the city of the same name and features replicas of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building.
 
Sci-Fi City
Sci-Fi City is the largest zone in the park and is themed after a futuristic city. It features the TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle and the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON roller coasters.
 
Ancient Egypt
Ancient Egypt is themed after the ancient civilization of the same name. It features the Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride roller coaster.
 
The Lost World
The Lost World is themed after the fictional land of the same name. It features the Jurassic Park: The Ride roller
coaster and the WaterWorld stunt show.
 
Far Far Away
Far Far Away is themed after the fictional kingdom of the same name from the Shrek movie franchise. It features the Shrek 4D Adventure and the Donkey Live show.
 
Madagascar
Madagascar is themed after the 2005 animated movie of the same name. It features the Madagascar: A Crate Adventure ride and the Penguins of Madagascar show.
