About Gandhola Monastery
Gandhola Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located in the village of Gandhola, about 15 km from the town of Kaza. The monastery was founded in the 14th century by the Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo. It is one of the most important monasteries in the Spiti Valley, and is home to a large number of monks.
