About Escher Museum
The Hague Escher Museum is a museum in The Hague, Netherlands, dedicated to the work of the Dutch artist M. C. Escher. The museum is located in the Mauritshuis, which also houses the Royal Cabinet of Paintings. The museum was opened on June 2, 2002, and is the only museum in the world entirely dedicated to Escher's work. The museum has a permanent collection of more than 200 original works by Escher, as well as a large collection of prints and books. The museum also has a library, research department, and gift shop.
