About Vadodara Museum And Picture Gallery
Vadodara Museum and Picture Gallery is a museum in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It is located in the premises of the Sayajirao Gaekwad III Museum. The Picture Gallery is housed in a building constructed in 1894, while the Museum building was completed in 1905. The Picture Gallery has a collection of British paintings, including works by William Hogarth, Sir Joshua Reynolds and George Stubbs. It also has a collection of Dutch and Flemish paintings, including works by Rembrandt and Peter Paul Rubens. The Museum building has a collection of sculptures, including a granite sculpture of Nandi, the bull, a gift from the Maharaja of Mysore. Total 65,000
