This trek is a moderate one and is perfect for those who are looking for an introduction to trekking. The trail passes through dense forests, offering stunning views of the Western Ghats.

You will need to get a permit from the forest department to trek to Chembra Peak.

The best time to visit Chembra Peak is from November to February.

There is no specific accommodation near Chembra Peak. However, there are plenty of places to stay near Vythiri, which is about 25 kilometers away from the peak.

There is plenty to see and do in the area surrounding Chembra Peak. Popular attractions include the Meenmutty Falls, the Edakkal Caves, and the Banasura Sagar Dam.

There is no restaurant near Chembra Peak. However, there are restaurants in nearby towns such as Kalpetta, Wayanad and Sulthan Bathery.

Day 1: Start from Kozhikode and drive to Vythiri. Reach and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Day 2: After breakfast, drive to the Chembra peak. Start trekking and reach the peak by afternoon. Enjoy the stunning views and spend some time at the peak. Descend and return to the hotel. Day 3: After breakfast, drive to the nearby waterfall, Thusharagiri. Spend some time there and then drive back to Kozhikode.

The best time to visit Chembra Peak is from January to May.

Reaching the Chembra Peak is not a difficult task. One can trek up to the peak or take a jeep ride till the foothills and then trek up to the peak.
